The United States Mint (Mint) will accept orders for the Mint’s 2024 American Eagle Silver Proof coin at its San Francisco office beginning August 7 at noon EDT.
Orders are limited to 25 coins per home within the first 24 hours of the sale, subject to availability.
Minted since 1986, the coin is renewed in 2021 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the American Eagle coin system with a completely redesigned obverse (head) and reverse (tail) design.
Like the mint at the West Point mint, the San Francisco mint has Adolph A on obverse and Oak on the left.
The inscriptions are “LIBERTY”, “IN GOD WE TRUST”, and “2024”.
The American Eagle Silver Proof (S) Coin is also available for purchase through the Mint’s Product Subscription Program.
