Heat a frying pan and pour in 4 tablespoons of cooking oil.
When the oil is hot, sear the sliced tofu on both sides until crispy (about 8 to 10 minutes per side).
Transfer tofu from pan and cool. Cut into small squares. Set it aside.
Heat the remaining oil in a clean frying pan.
Sauté the garlic, ginger and onion. Add fried tofu with oyster sauce. stir.
Place the broccoli florets. Stir and then cook for 5-8 minutes.
