Spaghetti in one pot with meat sauce 

One-Pot Spaghetti all-in-one Italian sausage, pasta sauce, and noodles that can be made in about 45 minutes.  

It doesn't get any easier than this to cook everything in one pot. Mix things up by using ground beef, chicken, or turkey and with some other favorite ingredients like sliced mushrooms. 

Ingredient

– 1 pound ground Italian sausage – 1 small white onion, diced – 4 cloves garlic, minced – 1 (26 ounce) jar tomato-basil pasta sauce – 2 cups water

– 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning – 1 (8 ounce) package spaghetti noodles, broken in half – ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese for serving (Optional)

Direction

Place ground sausage, onions, and garlic in a large saucepan or deep-sided skillet. Over medium heat, cook until sausage is completely done, about 5 to 8 minutes. Drain and discard grease. 

Bring the spaghetti sauce, water, and Italian spice to a boil in the pot. Stir in the spaghetti noodles; bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer. 

Simmer for 17-20 minutes, stirring frequently, until the noodles are tender and the sauce has thickened.

Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
