Thermomix Scones

Ingredients Self-raising flour, cold butter, sugar, milk, and a pinch of salt.

Step 1: Prepare the Dough Add flour, cold butter, sugar, and salt to the Thermomix bowl. Mix on speed 6 for 10 seconds until crumbly.

Step 2: Add Milk Pour in the milk gradually and mix on speed 4 for 10 seconds until the dough starts to come together.

Step 3: Form the Dough Transfer the dough to a floured surface. Gently knead to bring it together, being careful not to overwork.

Step 4: Cut the Scones Roll out the dough to about 2 cm thick. Use a round cutter to shape the scones.

Step 5: Preheat the Oven Preheat your oven to 220°C (430°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Step 6: Bake the Scones Place the scones on the tray and brush the tops with a little milk. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.

Step 7: Cool and Serve Allow the scones to cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.

Step 8: Enjoy with Toppings Serve warm scones with clotted cream, jam, or butter for a delightful treat!
