Simple Boursin Chicken Pasta pour une soirée du week-end

2 boneless, skinless chicken breast – 8 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice) – 1 tbsp olive oil – 1 small onion, chopped – 2 cloves garlic, minced – 1 cup Boursin cheese (garlic & herb flavor) – 1/2 cup chicken broth – 1/2 cup heavy cream

Ingredients

Cook your favorite pasta according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside for later use.

Step-1

Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Slice into strips.

Step-2

In the same skillet, sauté chopped onion until soft and translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Step-3

Add Boursin cheese (garlic & herb flavor) to the skillet. Stir until the cheese melts and blends with the onions and garlic.

Step-4

Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir well and let simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.

Step-5

Incorporate fresh baby spinach into the sauce and cook until wilted, adding color and a nutritional boost.

Step-6

Mix the cooked pasta into the sauce, tossing to ensure the pasta is well-coated and combined with the creamy sauce.

Step-7

Add sliced chicken to the pasta and sauce, stirring to combine all ingredients thoroughly.

Step-8

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve warm and enjoy your easy weeknight dinner!
