Korean Soybean Sprout Soup (Kongnamul Guk)
Ingredients
– 12 oz soybean sprouts,
rinsed
– 2 anchovy broth coins
– 8 cups of water
– 2 tablespoons garlic,
minced
– 2 green onions,
chopped
– 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
– salt,
to taste
Directions
Bring water and coins of anchovy broth to a boil in a large pot.
Add the washed soybeans to the pot, turn the heat to medium and cook, covered or uncovered.
Add garlic and season to taste with light soy sauce and salt.
Add the green onions and serve!
