– Baking spray with flour, for the pan – 2 c. all-purpose flour – 1 1/2 c. old-fashioned rolled oat – 1 1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar – 1 tsp. baking soda
– 1 c. (2 sticks) salted butter, melted – 1 tsp. vanilla extract – 1 (12-oz.) jar caramel sauce – 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chip – 1 1/2 c. pecan halves, chopped – 1 Tbsp. flaky sea salt
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Flour and spray a 13-by-9-inch baking dish, line with parchment paper and leave at least 1 inch overhanging, and spray again.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, brown sugar and baking soda. Add in the butter and vanilla, and fold to combine.
Press half of the mixture in an even layer into the prepared pan. Bake until just warmed through, about 10 minutes.
Heat the caramel sauce in the microwave according to the package instructions until bubbly.
Sprinkle crust with chocolate chips and pecans. Pour the caramel over the chocolate and fruit in as many layers as possible. Spread remaining oat mixture evenly.
Let the logs cool completely, at least 1 hour. Cut into 24 pieces and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
