Air Fryer Cheeseburgers offer a quick and easy way to enjoy a classic, juicy burger without the need for a grill or stovetop.
The air fryer perfectly cooks the patties to your desired level of doneness, while also giving them a deliciously crisp exterior. This method ensures that the burgers remain juicy on the inside, making them a hit with everyone.
Ingredient – 1 pound ground beef (80/20 for juicier burgers) – 1 teaspoon garlic powder – 1 teaspoon onion powder – 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper – 4 slices of your favorite cheese (cheddar, American, Swiss, etc.) – 4 hamburger bun – Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise
Instruction 1. Prepare the Burger Patties:In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.
– Preheat the Air Fryer:Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes. Cook the Burgers:Place the burger patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they don’t overlap. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook them in batches.
– Air fry the patties at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium doneness. Adjust the time if you prefer your burgers more or less done. – In the last 1-2 minutes of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and continue air frying until the cheese is melted.
