Sibling Group (Coral Gables)



Participant must be the sibling of a registered UM-NSU CARD constituent and be between the ages of 10-14. Participants must know about their sibling’s autism spectrum disorder diagnosis.

The parent or caregiver of the participant that is interested in the group must schedule a phone screening with one of the facilitators.

The focus of Sibling Group will be:

  • Understanding autism spectrum disorder
  • How to talk to family, friends, and others about their sibling
  • How to self advocate for their own time and needs to their parents/caregivers
