Relating-2-Reading (Broward)



Parents – Join us for a FREE program and learn invaluable communication and literacy strategies to help your child!

Relating-2-Reading, uses a working team approach to teach you how to: 

  • Engage with your young child with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Developmental Delay while reading books using visual schedules, props, and evidence-based strategies; 
  • Identify good early childhood books for young children and make your own books; 
  • Implement positive behavior support strategies to promote participation; and,
  • Promote communication and emergent literacy skills in your young child

When: This group will meet on TUESDAYS from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on the following days:

  • October 2, 2018
  • October 9, 2018
  • October 16, 2018
  • October 23, 2018
  • October 30, 2018 – NO SESSON
  • November 6, 2018

Registration is REQUIRED and is LIMITED TO 10 participants

ATTENDANCE AT ALL 5 SESSIONS IS EXPECTED.

This program offers a 5 session learning course; each session is required for the session to follow.
